Job Summary of Assistant Branch Audit Manager:

The role of an Assistant Branch Audit Manager entails overseeing the daily functions of the branch, offering supervision, training, and mentoring to teller employees. You will work alongside the Branch Manager to cultivate a sales-driven environment. Additionally, you will assist clients in meeting their financial aims through the promotion of bank products and services and making appropriate referrals to specialized bank professionals. Furthermore, you will act as a manager when the Branch Manager is absent.

Responsibilities of Assistant Branch Audit Manager:

  • Oversee the management of a variety of standard financial transactions, like check cashing, fund withdrawals, deposits, and loan repayments.
  • Tasked with managing branch operations, leading in sales, operations, and client service, and providing support and guidance to the teller team.
  • Aid in operational tasks to ensure their timely completion. Adhere to policies and procedures to minimize risks and attain favorable outcomes in internal audits.
  • Support clients in comprehending their present and future financial obligations by engaging in proactive discussions utilizing the Banner Way approach and instruments.
  • Tasked with suggesting customized options that fulfill the client's individual financial requirements. Guide clients towards other relevant business sectors when needed. Address inquiries and resolve technical issues associated with client accounts.
  • Develop expertise in operational processes and regulations to ensure alignment with compliance criteria.
  • Taking responsibility for adhering to and overseeing staff compliance with policies, protocols, security measures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements of Assistant Branch Audit Manager:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
  • NMLS registration preferred
  • 4 or more years of retail banking experience required
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process or team Required
  • Extensive knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems. Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services. Demonstrated knowledge of all complex accounts, and consumer and QuickStep lending.
  • Proven client service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette required.
  • Possess effective selling, cross selling and referral skills.
  • Possess strong mathematical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client credit data and other related financial information.
  • Experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.
  • Travel upto 20%
