Responsibilities of Network Facilities Technician:

It is imperative that you maintain the top-notch condition of our outdoor plant facilities to ensure Verizon's operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• The responsibilities include organizing, adjusting, and deleting outdoor telecommunications equipment like cables and poles along with their accompanying hardware.
• Attaching wires and cables to sockets and securing or loosening different types of apparatus to wires, cables, constructions, or supports.
• Interpreting and making sense of engineering task orders.
• Carrying out construction operations using designated equipment, which may involve tasks like hole excavation and pole placement.
• Driving a range of commercial vehicles to transport company equipment.
• Going up ladders and poles, working at elevated positions, identifying variances in wire and cable colors, and relocating/lifting objects that usually do not surpass 100 pounds in mass.
• Meeting the business demands by working evening, weekend, holiday, and irregular shifts as necessary.

Qualification of Network Facilities Technician:

You know outside plant and construction and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work on Americas fastest and most reliable network. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You know that the whole team needs to work together to win and you take pride in a job well done.

• Valid state drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
• CDL or the ability to obtain one.
• A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
