Warehouse Clerk needed in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
$22/hr
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Filing:
Accurately input data into computer systems, including inventory records, shipping orders, and invoices.
Maintain and update warehouse documentation, including shipping logs, receiving reports, and other relevant records.
File and organize documents according to established procedures.

Order Processing & Shipping:

Assist with order processing, including verifying customer orders, preparing shipping labels, and generating invoices.

Process shipping requests and coordinate with carriers for pick-up and delivery.

Track shipments and communicate with customers regarding order status.

Inventory Management:

Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock audits, cycle counts, and data entry.

Prepare reports on inventory levels and discrepancies.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including warehouse staff and customers.

Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

General Office Duties:

Answer phones and emails, and direct calls as needed.

Maintain office supplies and equipment.

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Follow the company policy and instructions from Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in a warehouse or office environment is preferred.
Ability to work in Warehouse Work Environment - may be subject to noise, heat, cold, chemical smell, dust, and other similar conditions.
