Davenport Screw Machine Operator - $20-$40/hr | Rochester, NY

Join a leading precision manufacturing team in Rochester, NY, as a Davenport Screw Machine Operator. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and the chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment.

Pay: $20-$40/hr, based on experience
Shift:

• A Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  
  
• B Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Monday-Thursday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
  
  
• Perform tooling changes and machine offsets
  
  
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  
  
• Monitor quality and make adjustments to maintain production specifications
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Davenport or other multi-spindle machines
  
  
• Proficient in blueprint reading and inspection techniques
  
  
• Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
  
  
• Reliable and committed to producing high-quality work
